Redhat backport all security fixes from the kernel mainline to their own kernel so running the latest available will fix any security concerns. They also backport support for new hardware so if you need a newer kernel for hardware support then you may find it in the latest available via yum.

If none of those help and you really need a newer kernel then ELRepo supply a 3.2.9 kernel-ml in their elrepo-kernel repository.
