Unluckily not. After about one day of test, I have had no freeze/reboot, but occasionally, under stress, the display gets 'scrambled' (lines of text disappearing or unreadable, images with missing portions, mixture of graphics from different workspaces, ...). Sometimes it recovers by itself and sometimes I need to force a refresh by doing something, eg minimizing/maximizing a window or changing workspace.

Definitely the driver 295.20 is severely broken, even if the effects are different when installed directly or through kmod-nvidia.

Now I don't know if it is worth trying an older driver or going back to nouveau again and forgettin the right resolution for the projector.
