Hello,
I try to use nfs v4, here are the results : my test : dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/nfs/pc1/output.img bs=8k count=256k time elapsed : 3min 13sec. so now to copy big file (2Go) from client to server, I have an average of 20Mb/s (max #100Mb/s with Giga network) ... 1) if my switch displays 1000M for one port connected, is that the pc connected and the cable OK for 1000M ? 2) can you help me to test / increase my network performance ? |

I also check cables : all are 5e or 6 (except for the cables that are in walls !! but it's probably sure that they are 5e or 6). When I try to copy big file from SERVER to NAS or Client to NAS : I have around 15M/s ... What can I do to increase the performance ? ![]() |
