Hi!
I have ACL888 sound card (integrated on EX58-UD3R motherboard) with 2 digital outputs, coax and optical. For the last 2 days I've been trying to make optical output work with no luck. Coax output works just fine. I have alsa driver installed and this is the output from the info script: ALSA Information script If any other info is needed, I will provide it. I've looked around and read a lot workarounds but couldn't find an answer. Please can anyone help me and point me in the right direction. I would really appreciate it. Thank you! |

Your script shows you are still running CentOS 6.0 so the first thing to do is "yum update" to get to the current and supported 6.2 release. What is the source of the alsa drivers? After updating, you could provide more information about your system by running "./getinfo.sh" and showing us the output file.
