I have been installing Centos 5 on several boxes with no problems. For the past week I have been trying to install it on a 64bit AMD machine. I am using text installation and using the path mirror.centos.org /centos/5/os/x86_64. After it downloads the image, I get the tree doesnt match the boot media. I have re downloaded the Centos 5 installation for 64bit and 32 bit just to rule it out and tried using the i386 boot tree. Either way I receive this error. Any idea? I am out of them.

Make sure you are using a 5.8 DVD/CD, and not a 5.7 DVD/CD.

Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature.

Gerald's comment is the first thing to check, but note that Netinstalls are notoriously unreliable. If you have a number of systems it would likely be worthwhile to create a local mirror, but you should at least use a nearby mirror rather than the main site, or perhaps better yet use DVD media.
