Did you increase message_size_limit in /etc/postfix/main.cf and restart postfix?

Sure did, set it to 100MB as a test, but quickly reverted back after it still failed.

I may have missed something, but I must admit I fail to see what makes you think this may be related to the size of the message? Indeed, logwatch e-mail notification can be bulky (if it contains for example, a big portion of a maillog)... However, I still doubt this could be the issue.
Is this error message you've posted from the /var/log/maillog or from elsewhere? Where did you try to send the message to - to localhost or to outside? |
