Hello,

I have just recently (last couple of days) started to have issues with my CentOS 6 server. I am get tons, and I mean tons, of the following messages in the sys log :

Feb 29 00:04:17 ds9 kernel: e1000e: eth0 NIC Link is Down
Feb 29 00:04:21 ds9 kernel: e1000e: eth0 NIC Link is Up 1000 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: Rx/Tx

It is always 3 seconds and it is causing problems for me to no end (the issue is the same regardless of which nic I use. The messages can appear several times a minute or in worst case up 3 seconds down 3 seconds. I do not understand why this is happening. Anyone have any suggestions for me on how to solve this.

I have the following :

Kernel : 2.6.32-220.4.2.el6.x86_64
Motherboard : ASUS
RAM : 8GB
CPU : Core 2 Quad Q8300
NIC card 1 : Intel Corporation 82567LM-3 Gigabit Network Connection (rev 02) (no board)
NIC card 2 : D-Link System Inc DGE-530T Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (rev 11) (rev 11) (pci card)

kmod e1000e : v1.9.5
kmod sk98lin : 10.91.2.3-2
