CentOS Connect is the contributor conference for CentOS, focusing on CentOS Stream, Special Interest Groups, and the entire Enterprise Linux ecosystem. CentOS Connect 2027 happens January 28 – 29, as part of the FOSDEM Fringe.
Register
CentOS Connect is a free event, but we strongly encourage registration to help us ensure we have enough space and catering for everyone. Your registration includes two days of presentations and meetups, and lunch on both days.
We will also live stream the event, and make every effort to include online participants. The live stream will be public, but registering allows us to keep you updated.

Venue
CentOS Connect 2027 will be held at the DoubleTree Brussels in the Sycamore ballroom on the ground floor. We have a room block available for our attendees. The room block is available through the FOSDEM weekend. Our room block rate includes breakfast. Breakfast at the DoubleTree is a great place to find interesting conversations.
Call For Presentations
We’re interested in hearing about what you’re doing across the CentOS ecosystem. These are all interesting topics for us:
- New developments or infrastructure in CentOS Stream.
- Updates and innovations happening in our Special Interest Groups.
- CentOS as a development platform for applications, derivatives, and AI.
- Automation and operations for CentOS and workloads on CentOS.
We prefer short, 25-minute talks to keep things moving in our single-track conference. We do have a few long, 40-minute slots available for topics that require a deeper dive.
We also host meetups on Thursday morning, before our session track starts in the afternoon. Meetups are for groups of 10-30 people to meet for two hours to discuss a topic. They’re ideal for SIGs and project initiatives.
As this is a CentOS focused event, please ensure that your talk or meetup proposal reflects this. Our community touches many corners of the open source ecosystem. We want to hear about all those developments, but in the context of how they affect CentOS.
