Thank you Trevor for the response,Our office is running completely on outdated OS such as Xp for desktops,CentOS 5 and MS 2003 for servers.I have initiated request to upgrade the entire infrastructure. Will there be any dependencies in upgrading Mysql for time being.

I am planning to upgrade Mysql 5.0 to Mysql 5.6 in CentOS 5.11.There are so many applications running on the server like mail server,webserver.Will this upgrade impact and of the applications running.Any dependencies will be there?...
