Thanks. I have moved my focus to Postgres 8.3, specificallly Mammoth Replicator 1.8. STarting out with a very lean Centos 5.2 install. The database server(s) for my deployment will be dedicated servers. I will check out the updated web stack once i get my postgres replication and app in testing. - Lou

Thanks... I am dong the install w/out Postgres right now. in my test VM. As far as clients connecting, the other servers are Centos 5.2 servers running PHP. Will there be a need to do anything to those servers as far as connecting to a Postgres 8.3?
