Is there a Live ISO option for centos7 that enables me to start just a command line session (with full networking inc ssh)? Tried LiveGnome and, whilst it boots, its rather heavy for the Acer Aspire I'm running it on.

centos7 suitable for small self-maintaining server?
Hi. I want to deploy a small public-facing REST server within a SOHO environment with sufficient security to prevent compromise of the local machines but without maintenance and configuration of the server becoming a lifetime's work. LiveCD kernel panic
I'm getting Kernel panics attempting to boot both the 6.5 LiveCD and LiveDVD on a Supermicro x10sl7 mobo with Haswell Xeon installed, screen capture attached.
The normal install works just fine.
Any workarounds?

IIUC, upgrading glibc is a very nontrivial proposition but there does not appear to be a Centos 5 or 6 release for this architect...
