Has anyone had experience with this cpu and Centos 7.8? Am I going to be sorry, happy or am I in for a lot of trouble to get working?

Re: Centos 8 -> Centos Stream Upgrade

Thanks. I'd forgotten that I could also look back through the dnf history. It helped me figure out my error. All good now.

Re: CentOS Stream 8 security announcement

Hi team, Does CentOS Stream 8 has a way to announce package updates and corresponding CVE numbers? We used to check https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-announce/ and upstream Red Hat pages for it, but can't find anything related with CentOS Stream version now. And BTW, for example, kernel-4.1...

Re: CentOS HAS BEEN CANCELLED !!!

Still processing this and what, if any, implications it has for me. Another bit of information in case others haven't seen it yet. Thoughts on CentOS Stream - jperrin.org I’m excited to see the CentOS project and Red Hat work together and collaborate around CentOS Stream, and I’d like to explain why...

Re: How do you use CentOS?

Survey submitted.

The question about how often main system is updated wasn't that clear to me. Was the question about:
  1. applying errata fixes (dnf or yum update),
  2. updating to the next dot release, i.e. 8.0 to 8.1,
  3. upgrading to the next major release, i.e. 7.x to 8.x

Indeed, the problem is back. I cannot sudo dnf update nor upgrade. Fortunately I have a working version installed now.
We can only wait for someone to fix it permanently without risking regressions in future updates.
You can exclude it via dnf, the command line is:

Code: Select all

sudo dnf update --exclude criu
