At least, when I ran it, I could never work out a way of having it run on two server with an active DRBD device on each of the pair of servers with failover for each being on the other server. So i...

Hi All I'm a newbee to CentOS and am looking to build 2 high-availability servers: 1 running LAMP and DRDB and 1 running a mail server using DRDB. We will need to have > 4GB of RAM to ensure we don?t run out of memory in the longer term. Apart from ensuring the processors support PAE what are the pr...

Cheers

64-bit Apache/MySQL/PHP install on CentOS 5.5 64-bit
Hi all I'm a newbee to Linux and could do with some advice. I've written a script that downloads via yum all LAMP components for CentOS 5.5 32-bit and need to mod it as we're now running CentOS 5.5 64-bit. What modifications do I need to do to the script to ensure that yum downloads the LAMP 64-bit ...

Clustered Server v DRDB
Hi I'm looking to setup a high-availability server using Apache & MySQL using CentOS 5.5 64-bit (for > 4GB RAM). As far as I?m aware I have 2 options: either a clustered server with shared storage or DRDB. I?m researching the pros and cons of the 2 approaches and would be grateful for any feedback! ...
