Re: Fetchmail OAUTH2
Just as a follow-up. I was able to install OpenSSL 3 via source and it seems to work. Once done, I pointed fetchmail 7 configure to that and it compiled fine. I have yet to test it completely but so far it is working.

Samba and Upgrading to Windows 10
I've recently upgraded my Windows 7 to 10. However, I am no longer able to map network drives that worked from Windows 7 with the same credentials. Here is the error I get in log.smbd. [2022/04/08 18:09:46.299055, 0] ../../lib/util/access.c:365(allow_access) Denied connection from 2600:1702:1a40:d5a...

Re: This account is currently not available.
Thanks for the reply but I'm not sure that is the way mailman is supposed to be. In any case, when I try to run the fetchmail script I get a permissions error trying to create fetchmail.pid. Since fetchmail is running as mailman and trying to write in a directory owned by mailman I don't understand ...

Re: This account is currently not available.
Thanks for the reply. I figured that out but this is for a mailman installation. I think that is the way it is supposed to be. I don't pretend to understand it but I have a query out for the mailman support team. I don't think this is a CentOS/Linux issue anymore.

I'm getting the subject error on an account that has been around for eons. When I ran 'passwd -S username', I got this: username NP 2015-01-16 -1 -1 -1 -1 (Empty password.) While I think this user never had a password (or needed one), I decided to set the password anyway. So now 'passwd -S username ...

Re: Epel Repository Failing
I've managed to resolve the problem. I restored a copy of epel.repo from an old backup. I don't know what update replaced the old version but restoring it resolved my problem. Thanks for the help.

Re: Epel Repository Failing
Now I am getting desperate. I need to install a library from the epel repository. Is there no one that understands what the error I am getting means?

Re: Epel Repository Failing
I don't follow. Isn't the URL part of the epel.repo file? I don't provide any URL with 'yum'.

Re: Epel Repository Failing
My OP has the error. It doesn't help me other than it is a epel repo.

Re: Epel Repository Failing
Not sure. Here is the epel.repo: [epel] name=Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux 7 - $basearch # It is much more secure to use the metalink, but if you wish to use a local mirror # place its address here. #baseurl=http://download.example/pub/epel/7/$basearch metalink=https://mirrors.fedoraproject.or...
