Kernel Panic while changing kernels

I tried changing kernel due to my last error on viewtopic.php?f=14&t=68931
using other kernel gives same kernel panic

That looks like the panic that happens when there is a missing initramfs file for that kernel version or the initrd line is missing from the grub stanza for it. Usually a yum reinstall of that kernel version fixes it by rebuilding it and completing successfully.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
