Disk (mdraid) performance degradation with kernel-2.6.32-754.14.2.el6.x86_64

Hi
Today I've updated to kernel-2.6.32-754.14.2.el6.x86_64 and this generated a terrible drop in disk performance on my raid.
As a reference dump give an average speed of about 120 mb/sec using kernel-2.6.32-754.12.1.el6.x86_64 while on kernel-2.6.32-754.14.2.el6.x86_64 I get only about 63mb/s (not enough to feed my backup tape drive)
Meanwhile I had to downgrade to previous kernel.
Do you have any idea of why does this happen?
Thank You
K.

Nope. You need to supply a bucket load more details.

What kind of I/O is experiencing the issue(s)?
What RAID? Hardware? Software? Whos? What level?
What storage is being used?
A dump of what (
As a reference dump
) using what?
Do you have any idea of why does this happen?
At a guess the various firmware updates (from microctl or whatever the service is called) - you don't say what your use case is.
