I recently bought a Canon MP160 (printer/fax/scanner) and hooked it up to one of my USB ports. However, even though I have managed to get ahold of the printer driver (canonmp160.ppd) and installed in in the CUPS model directory, and I have added it both in the CUPS portal gui and using the gnome system settings -> printer gui, I can't get anything to print. The jobs show completed in the spooler, but nothing prints out.
How do I troubleshoot this one? Both gui and command line options would be welcome....
The device is /dev/usb/lp0.
TIA.
