Hello,
I'm installing CentOS 5.0 (final) and my D-Link DFE-550TX NIC card isn't coming up. I have an existing (and seen) NIC on the motherboard (INTEL Gigabit - but running only in 10/100 mode).
The device manager shows the DFE-550TX exists but no drivers for it. I have been looking for a RPM for it without success. I'm wondering if anyone has any directions on getting CentOS 5.0 (final) to use this card.
If a driver / RPM doesn't exist, can someone suggest a good PCI Ethernet card (10/100 or 10/100/100 (as I do have a gigabit network)) that works with CentOS 5.0. I look at the NIC device list but wanted some recommendations before buying another NIC card.
Thanks in advance, Bertram Moshier
