You really want CentOS 5.10 or even 6.5 but you haven't posted enough information to help you. Please provide more details for " it dosen't work" :)

i'm sorry i have installed centos 6.5 in a virtual machine and i want to install gcc in my machine to compile my programms, the problem i have is that the connection is not established between the machine and the internet, when i wrhite service network restart i have the result:
shutting down interface eth1: FAILD
determining ip information for eth1: FAILED
shutting down loopback interface:ok

to give you all the informations: i have configurated my machine as you see:
TYPE=ETHERNET
UUID=50e5c092-dcab-4e89-9d63_818d46208d88
ONBOOT=yes
NM_CONTROLLED=yes
BOOTPROTO=dhcp

another thing is that i have choesed for the network adapter: bridged
