getting this all to work

Post by pacesetter » 2007/07/03 14:56:50

Greetings,

I am very new to CentOS and slightly new to Linux, I am more of a FreeBSD person but I am excited to try this OS out.

I am very confused though ..

when i installed centos it appears that it installed apache, php, and mysql but I can't seem to get them running.

I have googled for centos and apache and mostly got tutorials on how to install AMP using yum.

Can someone point me in the right direction?? or am i just missing a simple step in centos to get the LAMP services working/started.

thanks for all your help,

chris
