Using a postfix policy and pipe or spawn

Post by bfallon » 2013/12/20 20:36:11

Hello All,

I'm convinced SPF can expand my Postfix usage because libspf2-1.2.9 can be integrated via postfix's pipe utility or spawn.

Yet if /usr/bin/spfd is the service and /usr/bin/spfquery is the client, should I only use the client? It does fetch and return spf result codes, therefore this should be a "check policy service"? Also, are the results appended to the email for email clients to sort, or Spamassassin/Procmail or another Postfix parameter?

Thanks for perusing!

Nah, that's not the way to go.
I couldn't apply any of /usr/bin/spfd's "flags" (proven by the command lsof -Pi) at a prompt.
So, if any one was wondering, I had to go with the Perl packages. Hmm, I like these results.
