LOST XWINDOW (nomachine)

Post by roland_br » 2014/02/07 20:45:57

I installed nomachine nxserver 4.0 and after a while I lost xwindow contact. I mean, after building a connection with nomachine client 4.0, I had a piece of the Desktop, without icons, menubars eso and the screen blocked. I can login with putty and that is all.

When I login with another user it works.

What happened?

Thanks for help.

That is not a CentOS product.
There is some information in http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/FreeNX but I see only up to 3.5 mentioned.
Please contact nomachine for support.

maybe I can rephrase my question. Even if nomachine is not a centos product, It made me loose my Display. The same happens with VNC. So is there a way to inspect the environment of xwindow or whatever it could be. Or is there a service a can restart or clean the environment. Or start from clean, virgin.

Thanks
