Can i run CENTOS from a flash drive?

Hello, Guys I'm Dylan and I'm wondering if I can run CENT OS from my flash drive, I have used kubuntu before using pen drive linux, is it possible to do the same with CENT OS i have never tried it before and im interesting if that would work

You may write LiveCD onto USB stick for example.

I am unsure of the status of running CentOS *5* from a USB drive. (Since you're posting the CentOS 5 forums).

If the flash drive is seen as a USB hard drive, you should be able to install CentOS to it like you would any other hard drive.
Swap on a flash drive would not be a good idea.
I have had /boot on a flash drive in the past with root and swap on a real hard drive.

yeah of course, syslinux is the answer.
you could make yourself a custom initrd place it on the usb created and boot to a console from usb very easily
(but I wouldn't do it with centos 5)
