centos.org forums are very slow recently

Hi all

Is it known that the forums seem to be very slow recently? I'm on a 20Mb NTL cable modem connection and don't seem to be having problems with any other sites but for about the last week or so, I find that I often have to press refresh twice to get it to actually finish - the first time it just hangs "waiting for centos.org..." in the browser status bar.

Heck, I always run into that whenever I try to post or reply. When I click on "Preview" or "Submit", my browser just sits there forever "Waiting for www.centos.org...". I click on the browser's "Stop Loading" button, then on "Preview" or "Submit" again, and it goes right through. Been that way ever since I started using these forums.

Yup, did it again just now when I tried to preview. As far as I can recall, it happens 100% of the time.

[Edit] Posting went through OK after retrying preview. Trying to submit after this edit hung the first time -- will no doubt succeed now.

I have also notice a major slowdown in page load time for at least a couple of weeks now! It can take 10+ seconds to load the "/viewall.php". I figured the servers were just busy doing CentOS 5.6/6.0 stuff...

Immediately after I posted this, the whole site became absolutely perfect again :-)

Until now and then it went into "waiting for www.centos.org..." again but this time I was patient (or more properly, I got distracted!) and let it time out and it came up without any theme, just plain ugly HTML rendering. Looks to me like what it was waiting for was the css to arrive and it never did.
