[SOLVED] Open /etc/postfix/main.cf: Permission denied
Re: Open /etc/postfix/main.cf: Permission denied
If you want to send email from with httpd then that selinux boolean needs to be persistently on.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: Open /etc/postfix/main.cf: Permission denied
I believe it is, I have used the setsebool -P commands in the past (for centos 6 it was setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect=1) and even with rebooting the machine it would still work.TrevorH wrote:If you want to send email from with httpd then that selinux boolean needs to be persistently on.

httpd_can_network_connect != httpd_can_sendmail

Don't know what != means or if that was a typo for just = but when I tried httpd_can_network_connect it still did not work. I needed to do httpd_can_sendmail for it to work on CentOS 7.TrevorH wrote:httpd_can_network_connect != httpd_can_sendmail

!= is "not equal"
