All hosters I know (like hosteurope) set selinux off. I think they don't want to have to put in the time to figure out why things doesn't work. But it shouldn't matter whether it's on or off for a yum update.

I didn't disable it, it's default disabled, by rent a root server.

I agree, it shouldn't throw an error like that.
Many years ago I use to disable selinux, as it did cause a lot of trouble, but in the end I had to get to grips with it due to OS hardening and policy, so it is turned on by default now, I have done a few custom selinux policies as well, so I know my way around it a little.
ATM, I think you may have to wait until a fix is released, or enabled selinux and see if that helps, but take a snapshot of the OS if you can before doing so, or clone it and try it out on the clone if that is possible.
