Hi,

Myself Lokesh Kamath. I am very new to CentOS 7. So I need your help very badly.

I need help for below requirements.

1. Active Directory Primary Domain Controller
2. Centralized Backup Server for LAN

We are having nearly 100 Systems with Windows & Ubuntu systems and currently we are using Win 2012 Server as PDC for Windows Systems only. So we are planning to change it to CentOS7. So please help me to install Active Directory Primary Domain Controller in CentOS7. Step by step document is very much helpful.

Also please help me to make CentOS7 as Centralized backup server for LAN Systems (Windows & Ubuntu). Currently we have NetGear Ready NAS. I want to create one more copy of backup via CentOS7. Step by step document is very much helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards
Lokesh Kamath

The situation is quite complex.

I'm not sure how well FreeIPA integrates with Windows Clients.
Try with VMs the FreeIPA and a windows client and check the integration with CIFS (samba) shares.
