Hi, I don't quite understand what you mean. Are you saying I do not need to reinstall windows etc? If i change boot mode to UEFI my windows boots and then it says there is a problem with my pc and turns straight off again.

That's strange, this shouldn't happen. A CentOS install does nothing which harms a MS-Windows installed in UEFI mode (unless /boot/efi is reformatted during install but in this case MS-Windows cannot be started at all since the bootloader is gone). I have fixed this constellation (MS-WIndows installed in UEFI, Linux installed in Legacy/CSM) many times and never had this problem and therefore I never had to fix MS-Windows.

What exactly does your MS-Windows says, just "there is a problem" or something more specific?
