Post by org » 2019/07/11 09:07:46

Hi,
My company is providing on promise application for large enterprises.
Our delivery to the customer is an ova with everything installed on it. (including Operating System)
Can we use CentOs 7 as our application server operating system according to its license restrictions?

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick replay.
Its looks like this document is only about trademarks.
I could not find a section describing whether i can use CentOs as our server operating system on customers sites.
Thanks for the assistance.
