Boot loader confusion

Post by frasina92 » 2019/07/21 02:34:52

The computer was initially install with Windows 10 by IT. I then installed Ubuntu 18.04. I then installed CentOS 7.5. I accidentally installed CentOS as a legacy/bios install. I want to remove all unnecessary partitions and have one bootloader under UEFI... Help?

OK... Let's clarify what is your end goal.

Do you want to keep your windows or your Ubuntu installation?

If not insert your bootable media (DVD or bootable USB stick) and pres the key button that is for one-time boot menu.
From there select your CentOS7 UEFI mode.
You can easily recognize them as CenOS in UEFI mode has no graphical stuff , while in legacy mode is way more colourful.

Then follow the installer.
