Clean install on a physical machine instead of a virtual machine (a laptop with dual graphic card, which might be the cause of the freeze problem but I tried the fix online but they did not work)
Has Gnome and logged in just fine.
System required Kernel update and many updates at the same time.
Choose yes and after the completion the system restarted.
Boot with new kernel and try to login into Gnome with username and password, but after successful login screen freezes and requires a hard reboot.
If pressing ctrl+alt+f2 before login I can go into console just fine.
After reinstalling, the Gnome or the centos works just fine as long as I do not update (tho I can't connect through wifi for some reasons).
Please help me how to find the reason for this error to appear after update. And do tell me what information you requires to be able to find it out!
Thanks in advance.

Re: [New to linux] Computer freeze after updates
How did you complete the install? How did you install gnome? What fix did you try?
Have you tried re-installing with one graphics card installed?
Do both graphics cards have monitors connected? I'm wondering if the display is being output to the other graphics card.

Post the output from lspci -nn | grep -i vga
If using nvidia graphics and intel at the same time then you may need to use kmod-nvidia and bumblebee from ELRepo to make it all work.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

I installed with a usb boot drive, and I just choose "gnome desktop" option when installing centos.
I can go into gnome with no problem, it's only update makes me unable to login through gui.
Re: [New to linux] Computer freeze after updates
Since I reinstalled centos without updating, the problems are not appearing.
Should I update then post the output after the problem appears?
also i tried installing kmod-nvidia, but it did not work by itself. How can i install bumblebee?
ps. since i installed on a physical machine, mind if i post the output as a picture since i can't just copy paste like if i installed it on a virtual machine?
Re: [New to linux] Computer freeze after updates
the out put shown 2 graphic cards intel and nvidia.
i deleted the post because it shown my password unintentionally.
