CentOS7.6 can't be installed in VirtualBox
Re: CentOS7.6 can't be installed in VirtualBox
I think you should try the old style vbox vga not the vmware one.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: CentOS7.6 can't be installed in VirtualBox
There's a thread about the same kernel panic at https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=93990. Not overly enlightening to me but a very recent host cpu is involved to which the kernel says "Warning: Intel Processor - this hardware has not undergone upstream testing. Please consult ...". Someone mentions that VBox 6.0.6 works but 6.0.8 and 6.0.10 don't. My guess is that the kernel panics while checking for CPU bugs.

Does appending a space followed by the parameter unsupported_hardware=1 to the end of the kernel command line help?

Re: CentOS7.6 can't be installed in VirtualBox
I tried all the options and their combinations that I can have. It an real non-trivial error between CentOS(RedHat) and Windows or real hardware in Dell Latitude.
