The evolution-data-server and evolution-data-server-langpacks are installed/required by gnome.

Nautilus requires tracker.
That probably explains how it ended up on my ws. While I don't use GNOME -- I use KDE -- I've been experimenting with different de's. With KDE going away I probably going to switch to Cinnamon. Thanks for the reply.
