Hi Team,
As the centos 7 end date is 30 June, would there be lesser patch release for centos7 ?
The reason I am asking as the last kernel update came on 21st Mar. After this , no update came so far. Also ,there are very less patch release I can see in April month.
Please advise.
thank you

Re: centos new patches
Does Red Hat still release updates for RHEL 7? Yes
Should those be rebuilt for CentOS 7? Yes
Are there plenty of resources to do the rebuilds with? No

thank you jlehtone for your reply.
correct me if I am wrong - if there would be any critical vulnerability on centos 7 , there are chances that patch release can take longer time due to less resources available ?

Re: centos new patches
It's still the same as it ever was, a single person does the updates and releases them. Sometimes they are easy to rebuild, sometimes they are more difficult and it takes longer. They're still being built and released.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
