acrobat pdf email problem

Post by Arie » 2019/07/02 13:00:36

Hi all.

System is Centos 7.6 with adobe actobat 9.

Within adobe we are trying to send an email with "attatch to Email" from adobe thru system email (postfix)

The problem is that mail is not send as a attachment, but as text in the mail.

Any solutions possible to this situation?

You shouldn't use it in any case. Adobe discontinued the product in 2013 and there have been no new versions since. There are vulnerabilities in the 2013 package which render it unsafe to use.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

We know adobe is unsafe, adobe only views local generated PDF files made by an application.

Still trying to work around the problem we have.

We solved this problem by creating a drop folder and a cronjob/script and sent the file thru mutt/postfix.
