Hi,
I have had my CentOS7 box up and running for a little while now, but one thing I can't seem to get sorted is the ZFS.
For some reason it appears that the system is not working properly. I get an error in dmesg saying that SPL module verification failed, but the next line shows it loaded the SPL module. Once everything has finished loading, I have to manually import the two zpools. When I do import them I have to use the -f switch.
Once imported they work absolutely fine, until reboot where again they have to be manually re imported.
I am using kernel version 3.10.0-123.6.3.el7.x86_64 with ZFS and SPL modules both at 0.6.3-1.1
I have seen some resolutions but they seem to revolve around incorrect SPL kernel modules that don't get updated.
Thanks,
Jon

Re: ZFS/SPL issues
CentOS does not ship nor support ZFS. Try asking the ZFS people where you got the package.
Also, that is not the current kernel.

Re: ZFS/SPL issues
I know it's not the current kernel but it's the one I have on my system, and I have no current reason to update it.
I also know ZFS doesn't ship with CentOS, but who knows, some other users may have had the same or similar issues.

Re: ZFS/SPL issues
You would more likely find them in a ZFS forum.
