You need to look in the error log for the site, as already explained.

As last resort , run apache in the console (without systemd) and set the log to debug.

As I said, nothing is there. The file is empty.

Not sure.

I haven't seen a reply about the output of the deamon in forground mode...

I would suggest that we stop helping here. This user isn't even running CentOS any more...
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
