Steam Install Conflict

Post by jmacdougca » 2019/06/30 02:46:26

It look like the previous version is conflicting with the current install. I feel like I should remove the previous version from the system. But how?

Why do you even have Fedora 29 packages installed on CentOS. Don't. They are not compatible.

Additional packages are often in 3rd party repos. Information on additional CentOS repos is available at http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories Pay attention to the reference on yum-priorities
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
