Sqlite Package with FTS5 Enabled

Post by haroldjclements » 2019/08/13 14:16:31

Hi Forum,

Do you know if there is a Sqlite3 package available with the FTS5 module enabled? Its seems a bit odd that I need to build the whole application just to enabled the feature... Surely this is something that a lot of Sqlite uses need...

Thanks for your time...
Harold

I would think that people who need full text search would primarily use a "real" database system for such needs.

Please note that you need to be extremely careful with sqlite as yum uses it as its backend database. Upgrading sqlite outside of the distro packages can lead to yum being non-functional.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
