Issue when installing Package

NOT able to solve this issue.

when i try this :

#yum install R -y

i get this error:

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem

I'd say you have disabled the base and updates repos that contain all the missing prereqs it's complaining about...
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
