Hi members,
I am running Centos 7 (64-bit) on my 64-bit hardware.
Centos is uptodate (updated today with all stuff offered by 'software update').
I want to install Thunderbird, I can find and select it in 'software', the installing process SEEMS to start, an extra confirmation is asked for, a short section of blue-timeline bar appears in my window, but it disappears again and nothing happens....
The 'system monitor' that I opened before and is running in a separate screen is showing no activity on the network (nothing is downloaded).
(there is capacity for storing files in my system).
Are there problems with Thunderbird, the repository or am I doing something wrong??
Many thanks for your advice

Thank you for pointing me to this!
Your method did install Thunderbird without problems.
Maybe my described graphical approach failed, while I was logged in as a normal user at that moment?
