Intel Embedded Raid II disk not detected

Post by rferguson » 2014/09/15 07:41:42

After I setup Raid 10 when I try to install CentOS 7 I get a message that says "No Disk detected"
How do I get CentOS installed?

Sounds suspiciously like you're trying to use FakeRAID. The usual suggestion is to remove the BIOS FakeRAID setup and use Linux software RAID instead.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
