https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .pop&hl=en

For the app.

For how to use it.

Although with CentOS-7 I suspect that simple-mtpfs would work, I haven't tried it.

Scottro is right. I use ES File Explorer every day, and forgot about the built-in FTP server.

Firstly, please read the forum rules and perhaps look at some of the links in my signature--please don't use text speak. Many people will simply ignore your posts if you continue to write things like pls for please.

Secondly, if you follow those instructions to set up ES File Explorer's ftp server on your phone, it will tell you exactly what to do--you can open a browser and go to the address it will show you, something like, ftp://whtaever:3721

Or you can use an ftp client and go to the address.

I have had similar issue with my Nexus 4. Centos 7 was not able to detect the hardware. But after I installed packages - fuse-exfat and exfat-utils, OS could detect the hardware storage and working wonderfully. I assume the same to be true for Nexus 5 as well.

Airdroid takes out the os problem, all stuff is done via wifi. Works great. Give it a shot if you have some time.
