Hello,
Getting XFS errors on my filesystem after a power outage.
I've rebooted into single-user mode by hitting "e" on the Grub screen and appending rd.break to the LINUX16 line. I was able to run xfs_repair -d /dev/centos/root and it repaired some things, but after a reboot I'm still getting errors. I suspect there is further corruption in the home directory, but I can't seem to figure out the mount point for that to feed into xfs_repair. Can anyone help?
XFS(dm-2): Internal error XFS_WANT_CORRUPTED_RETURN
Re: XFS(dm-2): Internal error XFS_WANT_CORRUPTED_RETURN
Your error message in the subject of this thread says the error was on dm-2. That's /dev/dm-2 or if you want to know a more memorable name for it, look in /dev/mapper for a symlink to ../dm-2. You can run against /dev/dm-2 or /dev/mapper/centos-home (or whatever name it is that's symlinked to ../dm-2).
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
