I ran the dig command today, and this is the heading tghat I got:
"; <<>> DiG 9.8.2rc1-RedHat-9.8.2-0.23.rc1.el6_5.1 <<>>
;; global options: +cmd"
Just wondering if the "Redhat" was from the internet or the code for Centos 6.5?

ISSUE with "dig"
Re: ISSUE with "dig"
CentOS is a rebuild of Redhat Enterprise Linux. There are numerous mentions of redhat throughout the code and the only places these are changed are where they affect branding and copyright issues. It's perfectly normal to see Redhat in the output from dig.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
