Hello,
I've tried looking for answer online but cannot find the right info.
I'm assuming the systemctl command usage somehow?
I got hacked some way.
There is an entry in the resolv.conf test.com and it redirects my browser to the test.com website.
Thank You for your help.

How to edit dns entries / resolv.conf file ?
Re: How to edit dns entries / resolv.conf file ?
Could you restate your problem please? What you posted is confusing and not very clear.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: How to edit dns entries / resolv.conf file ?
Hello,
Sorry for the rushed post.
I have centos 7 loaded on my physical machine.
I was looking for info on the internet and clicked on a link I thought would help me. It seemed like a legit website.
After doing this my system was slow, bogged down.
After a reboot I noticed when I would go to my firefox home page and do a search it would go to some site called test.com.
I started looking around at files and noticed in resolv.conf that there was an entry for test.com
I edited and removed the entry, but after rebooting the entry is still there.
I'm not sure how to successfully get the entry out of my system?
Thank You,
Lowry

Show us.
I suspect you have your domain set to test.com.
You don't own that domain.

Gerald,
correct. I do not own test.com and I had my machine bla.test.com.
I changed the hostnames to not have a .domain.com
I thought this is what I needed to do for a RHCSA study lab.
Am I correct in assuming he only meant to do that on my specific kvm VM's I am using?
