Does Redhat/CentOS Update End Of Life Products like MariaDB 5.5?

Post by dcunningham » 2020/08/07 16:14:58

Hello,

We are currently running fully up-to-date CentOS 7. Of course, the default is MariaDB 5.5 which is EOL. But CentOS 7 is supported into 2024. Will Redhat and/or CentOS continue to update MariaDB 5.5 in the event of a security or major bug issue?

Forgive me for not just taking your word for that. LOL. Do you, or anyone else, have a link to documentation regarding this topic?
