Important news from Red Hat regarding source code access

Post by TrevorH » 2023/06/26 23:35:43

For anyone that missed these Red Hat announcements on Friday, they are worth reading if you use any of the RHEL rebuilds.

Users of all Almma/Rocky/Oracle EL should all read these links and wonder about where the future lies.

The only thing that is unaffected by these changes is CentOS 7 which will continue on for about the next 11 months until it dies of old age in June 2024.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
