Re: Centos 6 can not install kernel-2.6.30.x
The CentOS 6 kernel is a 2.6.32-xxx.y.z.el6 one. And CentOS/RHEL 2/6/32 is massively different to a vanilla 2.6.32 from kernel.org.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: Centos 6 can not install kernel-2.6.30.x
Is that a confirmed fact or a faulty interpretation?
I see no reason to touch 2.6.30 this day and age, unless you are conducting archaeological research.
Re: Centos 6 can not install kernel-2.6.30.x
2.6.30 is only 10 years old. What could possibly go wrong?

Re: Centos 6 can not install kernel-2.6.30.x
No, because you'd have to download and build it for yourself and that's a topic that's not suitable for this forum as it's too complicated. You'll also probably be the first person ever to do it.

Feasibility is irrelevant.
You have presented no reason to even think about it. "I must" is not a reason.
