We ship bind-9.8.2-0.68.rc1.el6_10.1.x86_64 on CentOS 6.10 and no-one reputable will ship replacement packages. Security fixes are backported to the CentOS copy by Redhat as per https://access.redhat.com/security/updates/backporting/ which gives details for information on backporting of security fixes and features in CentOS and RHEL. Additionally https://access.redhat.com/solutions/2074 may also be of use.

If you are attempting to update to fix security bugs then please consult the rpm changelog for the current version and see if the fix is already in place.

CentOS 6 has less than 18 months of life left in it. You might want to consider moving to CentOS 7 which has 5 years or so left. It ships bind-9.9.4-73.el7_6.x86_64
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
